Yesterday, I went to a horse ranch.
It wasn't just a horse ranch. It was a zoological garden of domesticated animals.
The ferret was introduced before the dogs were let out.
Mud was made for the hogs, and water was given to the cute little baby rats.
There were horses large and small, miniature and rideable size.
There were five cats -- there must have been cat doors somewhere to keep them away from coyotes at night.
The meanest animal was a sociopathic dachshund.
And it was quite cuddly.
We were visiting Dick Rothschild.
I suspect he always gets what he wants, because he wants to be happy.
He can do that anywhere. His commute takes him through 40 miles of Cali interstate.
He comments on its beauty, not its traffic.
He has a very nice smile.
His wife Jan likes to ride horses and take care of people and animals.
We enjoyed combing through the manes of two miniature horses - Sha-na and Tiny Tim.
Then we gave water to the aforementioned pigs and rats.
Their daughter Laura likes animals.
Animals calm Laura, and she is calm around them.
Animals are calm around Laura.
She sits down next to horses.
